SingTel Youth Plan
You know what? I am finally sick and tired of StarHub’s poor reception and network connections! I can go on and on for weeks about why am I so annoyed with StarHub but I shall cut the story short and list down the top three reasons to why I need a change in my telco:
1) I hate that I can never walk around the house to talk on my phone because I’m forever getting cut. I stay pretty high like almost 36 levels but this is no excuse right?
2) I’ve been exceeding my data bundle (cos it’s really not enough for me at all) so I ended up paying over $100+ for my phone bills for the past three months, OUCHHHHH. CAN YOU FEEL MY PAIN?!
3) I know I’m not supposed to use my phone in the classrooms but I really hate that I hardly receive any 3G connection in school (let alone 4G). The most infuriating moment was when I wanted to try out my Dash app in Watsons but because I was in the basement, I couldn’t connect to my app at all! I felt really paiseh to make everyone behind me wait. And so, I had to pay my items in cash in the end.
DO YOU FACE ALL THESE PROBLEMS TOO?
I couldn’t take it anymore and have finally decided to make a switch and sign myself up with SingTel’s Youth Plan which is really perfect for students like me! The best thing is, I didn’t even have to leave my house to do that at all. I even have my phone delivered to my door step!
HOW AWESOME IS THAT YES?
Let me show you how I did it in 5 easy steps!
#1: Go to www.singtelshop.com/yilingoh . Log in to your SingTel account!
No account? Fret not.
All you have to do is just fill up your account details and residential address (as shown above) and you’re done with registration! This can be done in less than 5 minutes! So much better than wasting 30 minutes at the information counter just to get a Q-number. Don’t you agree?!
#2: Look through the mobile catalogue to pick your phone!
You can simply sort the catalogue out by the newest phone to the cheapest phones etc. and also, you easily view the different phone details to make a comparison. How user-friendly!
Can you make a guess what phone I’ve got?! ;)
I got myself a LG G3 in Shine Gold, YAY!
(Still in the midst of exploring the phone but I will share my review with you soon!)
#3: Choose your favourite mobile number! Or….
If you really love your current StarHub/M1 number or you find it too troublesome to change a brand new number (I know how you feel), all you have to do is just enter your current mobile number and you still get to keep the same mobile number! ;)
Step #4: Choose your price plans!
Let me share with you the BEST VALUE YOUTH PLAN IN TOWN in just abitttt! :D
#5: Select your value-added service.
And yes, just 5 simple steps and you’re good to check out already! And oh yes, there’s even an option before check-out for you to trade in your phone too!If you have a phone you’d like to trade in, you just gotta select which phone you would like to trade in, and present it to the delivery person at point of delivery!
How awesome, isn’t it? Definitely beats waiting at the store for 2-3 hours, grrrr.
You will be able to see the $50 handset voucher upon clicking on the order summary, and the exclusive 2GB you get from my link will be reflected in the bill when it arrives! (:
Now, let me share with you the BEST NEWS of this post!

A BIG SHOUT-OUT TO SINGTEL:
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THESE EXCLUSIVE PERKS WITH ME AND MY FRIENDS! :D
Before ending this post, here’s some YOUTH PLAN FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS to help you clarify your doubts:
Who is eligible for the Youth Plan?
a) All students with valid local student cards (It doesn’t matter how old you are so for eg. Your Mom who’s a part-time student at SIM, she’s eligible for it too! What a great deal!)
b) Full time NS men with service status “NSF” in their 11B identity card and aged 25 years and below at the point of sign up, excluding regulars
*Do note that only 1 student card or 11B IC is applicable per youth plan. Any customer with both a valid local student card and an 11B will not be eligible to apply to 2 youth plans under his name.
Is there an age limit?
If you are below 18, you require a photo of your parent/guardian guarantor’s IC when you apply online. If you go down to the SingTel shops, your parent/guardian guarantor needs to be present. If you are above 18, you can do everything yourself
To which Youth Plans are the perks applicable?
Only the Lite and Value Youth Plans enjoy the perks, so do select either of these when signing up for a new line/re-contracting.
Can I only sign up for this plan online?
You may also sign up for this Youth Plan at any SingTel shop, but do note that there are some special perks only available to those who sign up through our unique links with our social influencers.
Or if you’re not comfortable with signing up online yet you want to enjoy these exclusive perks, you can email email@example.com with your Name, Contact Number and quote my name:
How will the phone be delivered?
It will be delivered right to your doorstep so do provide the right address! It should take between 2-4 working days. (HOW CONVENIENT!)
Till then, xx!

Photo Diary: Little Eskimos @ 2 Degree Ice Art
I've always wanted to visit the 2 Degree Ice Art for the longest time.
So guess what? The boy surprised me with the tickets by telling me "naaaaaa.... your notes" when I was really stressed out one fine morning. And can you imagine the look on my face when I realized it's not notes but tickets to 2 Degree Ice Art?!? Hehehe I must say, he really knows how to turn my frown into a smile (: Then we tried really hard to find a day to visit but workload just kept piling up... Until it was the second/third last day of the opening already. We're like 'ok forget it, let's take a break'. And I'm so glad we did cos we had so much fun laughing and playing together like kids! ^^
The day didn't start too well though. I lost my ez-link card, memory card suddenly became corrupted, some transaction failed me, the gym trial we signed up for denied him entry and bla bla bla.... So I was really upset and I can't stop ranting: "Sigh, it's not my day. Everything's going against me."
Then he replied: "Instead of focusing on all the bad things that happened, come tell me what made you happy today." Then I realized, the more I talked about the things that made me happy, the happier I was. And as much as it's the smallest things that really annoyed the sh*t outta me, it was also the smallest and simplest things that made me happy like: "I managed to sneak behind your back and surprised you, yay." Ahhh, how silly. <3
The Ice Art was really, really, really cold. It wasn't 2 degrees, it was -16 degrees, oh my goodness. I wished I could play the slides a few more times but it was too cold! So cold that we're both suffering from frostbite, boohoo. After our dinner, we decided to be a little more spontaneous and chill with some Ice Cold Beer, literally. Halfway through our drinks, we asked: Why the heck are we doing this to ourselves?!
But wells, checked one off the bucket list! ;)
On a side note, Summer semester I has finally ended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have no idea how happy I am. With all the blog adverts coming in (no, definitely not complaining at all), studying for tests every single week (just imagine squeezing 5 months' worth of workload into only 4 weeks) and non-stop project meetings (even during weekends) just to prep ourselves well for nerve-wrecking presentations, it was really a very exhausting and super stressful semester for me. It was so tough that I broke down a few days before my finals exams. The boyfriend was shocked, lol. But he just wiped my tears away, hugged me for a minute silently and said: "You can do this."
And... YES, I DID IT. So proud of myself! (:
Alrighty, shall head to bed early tonight cos school starts again tomorrow!
Haha, I know right.
Till then, xx!
I'm no angel, I'm just me
But I will love you endlessly.
